How SOSX helps
What systems thinking is. Systems thinking describes a problem as a network of interacting parts, with the feedback loops, stocks and delays that give it its behaviour, so you can reason about the whole rather than the pieces.
Research
Specialised agents research the question, every claim citing a source.
Build
One typed, connected network, every value with its units and confidence.
Analyse
One connected model, many analyses: trade-off, what-if, comparative and feasibility studies, and the emergent properties no single part shows.
Report
SWOTs, risk registers and decision reports, red-teamed before you see them.
Make better decisions in the work you already do
Specialised SOSX Editions, one for every sector.

Every serious decision depends on more moving parts than anyone can hold in their head, and working through them properly takes weeks, so it usually doesn't happen. SOSX does that work for you, in the language of your own field, and hands back reasoning you can show, argue with, and run again when things change.
Redstring
Writers' rooms and professional narrative writers, with video games coming soon
A story world stops being consistent long before anyone notices. The lore lives in one person's head, a wiki nobody updates, and a series bible that stopped matching the show two seasons ago.
Redstring models the story world as one living, computable system (characters, factions, places and the flows of finance and emotion between them) so continuity is something the model holds, not something a person has to remember. It supports human writing teams; it never replaces them.
SOSX Research
Researchers, supervisors and research offices
Knowing what a field actually says is the hardest ordinary problem in research, and “has anyone already done this?” can cost a month and still end in a maybe.
A body of literature becomes one connected map: papers, claims, methods and groups as nodes, support and contradiction as typed links. Gaps become visible, contradictions explicit, and every reference is resolved against a retrieved source before it can appear.
SOSX Engineering
Engineering programmes at the concept-design stage
The decisions that set most of the cost are taken at concept design, when the whole system is least visible and the trade space is argued from spreadsheets and memory.
SOSX Engineering supports the concept design phase of MBSE: the system of systems mapped, options traded on one sourced model, and the result handed on to the MBSE tools you run. It is where the platform began, and it is in live enterprise trials with a large global aerospace manufacturer.
Just Good Business
People deciding whether to start, founders working out a go-to-market, owners of running businesses, anyone applying for a grant or investment, and their advisers
You can describe your business. Describing the ecosystem it actually depends on (customers, suppliers, competitors, regulation) and finding where the growth and the risk really sit is a different job, and it rarely gets done.
Grow, pivot and reduce risk. Put the business at the centre and build the ecosystem out around it: an idea tested before you start, a go-to-market tested before you spend, or, for a running business, your numbers read from your own books, with cash run under worst, base and best cases and growth options ranked on time and on money. Raising money, it reads the business the way an investor or a funder will and drafts the grant application from your own evidence. The maths is deterministic, the numbers are never invented, and every step is yours to approve.
SOSX Investment
Investors and corporate-development teams in private markets
The ecosystem a prospective or portfolio business actually sits in (market, supply chain, regulation, competitors) takes days of desk research to understand, and by the time you have it you have usually already chosen what to look at.
Is it investible? SOSX Investment takes in the data room and maps the business and its whole ecosystem, then analyses what private investors need: prospects, the strength of the moat, and sensitivity to disruption from other players or from the dependencies the company relies on. After you invest, scheduled agents keep watch. Analysis for your judgement, never a stock-picking oracle, and no hit-rate is quoted.
Find the product built for your market
Five products is where we are concentrating: it is not where SOSX stops. The same platform runs these fields too, and pointing it at a new one is precisely what it was built to do. If yours is not covered, let's have a conversation about it.
SOSX for Utilities
Your own network, from source to customer, with its assets, works, customers and regulation, as one model a utility can question directly.
SOSX Circularity
The whole product life cycle and the systems around it as one model, with life cycle assessment as one of its reports.
SOSX Mentor
You at the centre: your work and the rest of your life, your skills, people and openings as one map you own, for your development only.
Working on a defence or CNI programme? For programme architects at defence and CNI primes.

Trust you can check
Aligned with the frameworks, proof kept apart from judgement, and every output attacked before it reaches you.

Fits how you work
It lands in your tools, keeps watch on its sources, and re-runs when the world moves rather than starting again.
Read moreThe seven reasons, one by one

SOSX is engineered against ISO 42001, ISO 27001, the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF and the OWASP agentic top-10. The audit trail, the approval gates and the source grounding exist because those frameworks require them: which is also what makes AI-generated analysis discussable in a review at all. Alignment, not certification: it produces the governance evidence those frameworks ask for; it is not certified to them.

We build twins of machines, buildings and networks too; SOSX also twins the connected problem you are actually trying to decide about, and keeps it from going stale the day it is built. Scheduled research keeps watch on the sources underneath the model, updates flow back into it, and the analyses re-run against what changed rather than being rebuilt from scratch. The model becomes something you keep and interrogate, not a document that was true once.
Asset twins and problem-space twins, side by side: digital twins of a problem space.

Provable, not merely plausible: an OWL-EL symbolic reasoner derives structural facts with the entailing axioms attached, kept visibly separate from LLM judgement and from simulation, so a reader always knows whether a statement is judgement, proof or computation, and can follow any of the three back to what produced it.

Every product exports into its own domain's toolchain: nine MBSE tools and formats for engineering; Fountain, Twine, EPUB and Obsidian out of Redstring, so a writers' room keeps its own software; and editable Word, PDF, Excel and PowerPoint from any analysis, for experts to take forward rather than start from. It is a unifying analytic layer above your existing stack, not a replacement, and the same posture holds for people: it supports teams, it does not displace them.

The systems analysis that occupies a team for weeks comes back the same day, and not as a summary, but as the network, the analysis and the editable documents behind it, ready for your experts to interrogate and take forward. The compounding saving is the second time you ask: when the world moves, you re-run the model rather than rebuild it. We put no number on that, because the benchmarks are unrun and we will not invent them.

SOSX is in live enterprise MBSE trials with a large global aerospace manufacturer, on real concept-design questions, where engineers put the audit trail and the source grounding under scrutiny before they would look at an analysis. Behind it stands a 15-year UK SME (founded 2011, Hove) with Cyber Essentials certification and AWS partner status, more than 170 client projects and nine products.

Analysis a manager can actually decide on: every claim carries its source, every high-stakes output is red-teamed by adversary agents, judgement is kept visibly separate from proof and computation, and a committed decision carries its rationale chain (the analyses, parameters, assumptions and sources behind it) and is re-tested when those parameters move materially. It supports the decision; it never makes it: the human stays in the chair.
SOSX is the platform for management decision making based on rigorous systems analysis. That is the purpose the lead serves, in every product and for every reader, and there are no measured decision-quality, decision-speed or outcome figures behind it: none exist, and we will not invent them.

All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated and well supported in logic and argument than others.
The SOSX book series
A central book and a companion for each field. Pick one and we email your copy. Start with the central book and go where your work is.
Read moreHow the books work
We have distilled what we know into nine books: one that teaches the discipline itself, and eight that take it into a particular field, storytelling, engineering, research, business, investment and more. The method comes first, canonical and attributed, so you finish one able to do the work yourself. We'll also explain what SOSX automates, what it makes auditable, and how much of the week it gives you back.
Bring us a question that takes weeks
The fastest way to judge SOSX is on your own problem, not on ours. So our ask is simple: bring us a real question from your business, the kind that normally takes a team weeks, and watch SOSX work it.
We would rather show you than tell you. Come and find us at World Summit AI in Amsterdam this October, or the Festival of Entrepreneurs in Birmingham in November, bring the question with you and we will work it on the stand. See where we'll be
Send us your question and let's have a chat.
